Tracklever ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — your email address and name, provided when you sign in with Google or email/password.
- Expense data — transaction names, amounts, categories, and notes that you enter.
- Habit data — habit names, targets, completion records, and streaks that you create.
- App settings — your preferred currency, language, and budget.
- Device information — basic browser and device type, used only for app functionality.
We do not collect payment information, precise location, or any data beyond what you explicitly enter.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
- To display your expenses, habits, and statistics within the app.
- To identify your account and authenticate you securely.
- To improve app reliability and fix bugs.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Third Parties
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database provider. Supabase stores data in servers in the EU region and complies with GDPR.
Authentication via Google is handled by Google OAuth 2.0. We only receive your email address and display name from Google — we do not receive access to your Google account, Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service.
We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (expenses, habits, settings) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — all your data is visible directly within the app.
- Delete your data — you can delete individual entries at any time, or request full account deletion by contacting us.
- Export your data — contact us and we will provide a copy of your data.
- Correct your data — you can edit any entry within the app.
If you are in the European Union, you may also have rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
Tracklever is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
